The BA 1040 is RCF’S solution for many of the smaller PA systems where the basic requirement is for voice Announcements, background music and PABX PA paging access.
The BA 1040 provides all of these functions making installation extremely simple whilst giving the contractor
and the end user additional flexibility and ease in system set-up and use.
The BA 1040 system is composed of two devices:
· a system amplifier unit · a paging control unit The system amplifier unit is a 2U high and 1/2 rack width metal enclosure and has been designed so that is ideal for both wall and undertable mounting.
PAGING & CONTROL UNIT
› Connected to System Amplifier unit with CAT5 cable
› LCD back-lit interactive display with dedicated buttons to configure and adjust both system inputs and outputs like Volume, Gain, Priority, Bass-Treble, Loudness, Chime tones etc.
› Miniature microphone and Smart PTT switch with indicator
› AUX PTT configurable switch for Emergency or local/remote paging facility
› Power and Fault LED indicators
› VU-meter and diagnostic messages shown on LCD
› AC or 12VDC local power supply input to be used for long connection only (over 50m)
SYSTEM AMPLIFIER UNIT
› Suitable for wall, under-desk or rack mounting (with adaptor provided)
› Built-in 40W power amplifier with 100V, 70V and 4 Ohm speaker output
› 4 inputs: PAGING microphone, MIC input with phantom, LINE level input, MUSIC input
› VOX and logic-input facility configurable on MIC and LINE input, together with priority levels
› Output paging relay available for overriding commands (i.e. volume attenuators)
› Configurable pre-output (Paging + Music, Music only, Paging only) with both LINE and 1W/8 Ohm driving capacity
› All connectors are removable screw terminals
› AC or 12VDC operation
› Power, Communication and FLT indicators are available on front panel
› 16 X BA 1040 systems can be daisy chained on a dedicated BUS using CAT5 cable to get call on a shared power amplifier facility from any paging unit; priority or interlock operation can be set
