The ES3163 model offers the capacity to manage three separate
audio zones over the ES3160 model. This allows for activating the
announcements and music programs as well as regulating the level of
sound output (volume).
The overall power of 160W can be freely distributed over 3 zones.
Connecting a model BM3003 console through a Category 5 cable at
inputs 2 and 3 of the unit, make it is possible to operate announcements in 3 selected zones or in ‘All Call’.
Input 1, if set for vocal activation, can manage a call in certain preconfi
gured zones; for example, for announcements from a private
telephone switchboard towards only one installed area.
Another facility offers the ability of the priority announcement to override the selected zone volume controls to broadcast announcements at a higher preset level.
The ES 3163 can also be interconnected to an external power amplifier in order to maintain music programming during announcements in the areas that are not affected by them.
With the special RJ 45 connection and the category 5 cable, volume and selection of external or internal musical sources as well as turning the amplifier off can be carried out from a distance.
Both the ES 3160 and the ES 3163 can be easily inserted in a 19” rack
with the mounting accessory, and take up 3 U in height.
