The Flash MPX broadcasts audio and video files stored on a Compact Flash card.
It is a solid state device, pre-programmed to play multi-stage interactive multimedia presentations and to support push buttons and sensors.
Most video formats are read by the Flash MPX : MPeg 4 AAC, Mpeg 2 or Jpeg still pictures...
Reading of files starts automatically on powering on (autoplay) or when selected by one of the interactive inputs.
16 built-in inputs are available for direct connection to push buttons and sensors. Inputs are programmable to play selected audio/video files and the player is configured to provide a very fast reaction time so that the video/audio playback is instantaneous.
The integrated 2x14W audio stereo amplifier distributes sound to speakers and headphone output is available on the front face ; two dry contacts connected to external buttons (volume + / volume -) allow volume control.
The Flash MPX displays video on a TV screen or any video screen with a composite video or S Video input. It is also possible to connect the player to a computer screen when using a video to VGA converter.
To copy files into the Compact Flash Card, use a USB card reader and a PC (USB port) and copy the files into the CF card.
An internal relay can be programmed to trigger external devices (lights, relay..) on reading of a file.

Maximum transfer rate
- Maximum transfer rate for video Mpeg2 VBR or CBR : 9 Mbps. Ideal rate 6 Mbps
- Maximum transfer rate for video Mpeg4 : 3 Mbps, VBR or CBR. Ideal rate between 2 and 3 Mbps
- Maximum transfer rate for audio MP3 : 320 Kbps. Ideal rate between 128, 192 and 256 Kbps
- Maximum transfer rate for audio AAC : 256 Kbps. Ideal rates are 128 or 192 Kbps
- Maximum transfer rate for audio WAV : 48 Khz. Ideal rates are 44.1 Khz and 48 Khz.
Flash MPX outputs

- S-Video (Y/C) output on standard connector mini 4 pin din
- Headphone output, stereo 100mW, 36 Ohms on jack 3.5 mm
- Audio line output, 2 V p/p stereo on 2 jacks RCA (red and white)

- Audio line, headphone and speakers outputs are controlled simultaneously by Vol+ et Vol-.
- One relay output is available on terminal Busy and Com. Output on dry contact, normally open at 1A
