In addition to the microphone button, the chairman microphone unit is equipped with a clear and function button. With the clear button the chairman can clear all activated delegate units. The function button can be configured to effect different priorities or functions. In addition to the delegate unit’s function the volume of the loudspeakers of all microphone units or the volume of the whole discussion system can be adjusted with the multi-function buttons and display depending on the configuration.
Clear button . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . To switch off all activated delegate units
Function button . . . . . . . . . . . . . 4 programmable functions:
“Normal” priority . . . . . . . . All activated delegate units are switched
off and can be switched on again.
“Mute” priority. . . . . . . . . . All activated delegate units are switched
off as long as the chairman unit is
switched on. When the chairman unit is
switched off, they are switched on again.
“Clear” priority. . . . . . . . . . All activated delegate units are switched
off and can be switched on again after the
chairman unit has been switched off.
“Message” . . . . . . . . . . . . . A command is sent via the interfaces
and a programmed function is carried out
via a media control system for instance
(e.g. light control)
Control . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Two different commands can be transmitted
acc. to the duration of the button press.
Mute Aux . . . . . . . . . . . . . . The Aux signal input is muted as long as
it is released again.
Mute Aux + Clear. . . . . . . . . . Both functions are active simultaneously
as long as the chairman unit is active.
RTS-Next . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Allocation of delegate units operating in the
request-to-speak mode via the chairman
unit.
